Investing Together

I have a passion for helping people grow their wealth over the long term. I always tell my clients that good investing should be simple but not easy. Having a friendly and steadfast advocate to guide you through the complexities of the investment industry and help you find a more simple way forward is an important step in ensuring your money works the way you need it to.

Investing is a lot like farming, so this is where my background serves me well! You have to plant the seeds, hold steady through the seasonal ups and downs, and hopefully have a bountiful harvest at the end. It’s a journey that takes patience and perseverance, and it’s important not to let your emotions control your decisions.

I’m not here to make risky decisions with your money or ride the latest investment trends. My interest lies in helping my clients reach their dreams so that they and their families can live a better life – and that’s something that needs time and careful consideration. You won’t find me timing the market or pursuing the hottest trends.

I derive great satisfaction from helping my clients achieve their financial goals and future legacies. I consider it an honor to be trusted with their financial wellbeing, and as such am diligent in ensuring the robustness of my approach and priorities for each individual client. I define my success by that of my clients, always with the goal of aligning my interest with theirs.

My Investment Philosophy

My investment philosophy is one of diversification with a long-term view. I create portfolios that fit the client’s risk tolerance and time horizons, which allows them to sleep well at night even during the volatile times. I don’t try to hit home runs but rather focus on the singles and doubles that ultimately provide great results.

Creating wealth is not a quick process. I tend to use funds where the investment manager has a good share of his or her own money invested. (This way they have skin in the game). Historically these funds have outperformed the category average. I pay close attention to expenses and portfolio turnover.

I also like funds that historically have had above average performance and are more involved in managing money rather than accumulating assets. I create a wealth machine that aligns my client’s money with the best brain power in America. The only thing the client has to do is feed it.

This system includes ongoing monitoring and rebalancing. I do not follow hot trends. I believe in systematic investing (dollar-cost-averaging). I believe the odds are that the market will be higher in five years than it is today, and I ignore the short-term fluctuations. I make the ride along the way simple so that my clients understand the process.

The Benefit of an Independent Advisor

I approach business in a very unbiased way and am totally independent by design. I work hard to do what is in the best interest of the client. I work as a fee-only investment advisor, which means that I act as a fiduciary.

I have no financial incentive to work with any one company and take great pride in doing what is in the best interest of the client. I earn no commissions and have no proprietary funds list. I am not trying to earn an equity position thus selling and promoting investments that help the firm. I already own the firm. Thus, I can work for YOU!
